Discover the magic of the mountains with an experienced guide by your side. This full-day guided walk through the Brecon Beacons National Park offers the perfect opportunity to experience hillwalking in a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
The day follows a carefully planned route typically covering 8–12km with manageable ascent, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the landscape while learning practical outdoor skills along the way.
Throughout the day, you’ll develop confidence moving across a variety of terrain while learning about navigation, route planning, weather awareness, and mountain safety. There will also be opportunities to explore the unique geography, wildlife, and history of the Brecon Beacons.
Small group instruction allows time for questions, skills practice, and plenty of photo stops while moving at a comfortable pace suited to the group.

Participants will need suitable outdoor clothing, walking footwear, food, and water for the day. A full kit list will be provided before the event.
Experienced & Supportive Instruction
TuFa aims to provide approachable, professional instruction with a strong focus on safety, confidence-building, and enjoyable learning experiences in the outdoors.
With small group instruction and a relaxed atmosphere, the day is designed to help participants feel comfortable asking questions, learning new skills, and exploring mountain environments safely.
Sessions are led by a qualified Mountain Leader with routes and pacing adapted to suit the experience and confidence of the group.
Instructors are insured and DBS checked.
