Learn the basics of navigation, route planning, and using a map and compass. Understand how to prepare for the mountains – covering clothing, equipment, food and weather awareness. Learn how to walk efficiently and confidently on a variety of terrain – from grassy paths to rocky trails. Discover the unique geography, wildlife and history of the Brecon Beacons.
